My son started to see Kelly the summer between Kindergarten and 1st grade. My son's speech was almost unrecognizable to anyone but my husband and I. He would act out in frustration due to not being understood. Kelly has changed his life! He is now a confident and easy to understand 3rd grader. He loved going to speech each week, it was a time where he learned but had fun. Kelly is patient, kind and caring. She had activities and lessons planned out that benefited my son. I have been so impressed with Kelly and am pleased with all her help. We have worked on pre- and post-op exercises for the past few months to help with my tongue-tie release. She has been wonderful at educating me on the "whys" behind the exercises and she has been a big encouragement to me at times when I feel overwhelmed by the work. I can not say enough good things about Link to Communication. Kelly did such a wonderful job helping my daughter prepare and recover from her tongue tie release! My daughter can be stubborn and I was worried between that and her sensory issues she wouldn't do the exercises needed to have this procedure done. Kelly worked with her and made it so much fun that my daughter would remind to me she needed to do her exercises and even had her whole class at school doing them! I am so impressed with how far my daughter has come with not only her speech but sleeping better as well!
